slone flushmate power assist toilet (gerber)

Anyone have any experience with a slone flushmate toilet. I am thinking of getting it for my new bathroom. Don't know about repairs and how noisy it is. One plumber said it is over kill for residence. I need to decide. Any other ideas.

Pressure assisted toilets are more expensive to purchase, maintain, and repair. Parts are expensive and if the plastic pressure tank ever fails, and I've seen it happen, then replacing it will be almost as costly as a new toilet.
There is also a screen inside the shank of the supply connection that must be kept clean periodically. Overall they are a PITA and unless you have a specific need for a pressure assisted toilet, I wouldn't recommend one.

On the plus side, the damn thing will flush a full grown cat.
On the minus side, everyone in the house will know that you did. Maybe the neighbors too.

I LOVE our FlushMate and highly recommend one! It is NOT that much noisier, and when I had problems with a faulty valve, they replaced the duckbill valve AND the entire center workings shipped to me for free! It WILL flush down a baby elephant, AND 5 cats at the same time.....
If you need to flush 'large product' then this is the 'product' for you!

One word of advice? Never flush it while SITTING on it! We lost our third-born that way.
