i just installed a granite bathroom vanity and i did the plumbing myself. for some reason the water wont drain, i tried moving that plate tihinking that it isnt level to let the water flow down the drain but didnt seam to work. is there a easy trick of the t rades here to fix this.

also i installed the faucet and the bolts barely fit through the holes in the granite, the granite is only inch and half thick if that and i can only get the water lines to hook up to them so i can not use the nuts to tighten to the bottom of the top. why the hell cant they just add a extra 2 inches or something, any recomendations? thanks

Take a picture under the sink.
Any faucet I've ever worked on has at least 3" long stems on it that stick out way to far for a reguler sink.
You have to have those nuts on or there's nothing to hold the faucet in place.
We will have no idea how you plumbed it, so why it does not drain may take a while to figure out.
If that stopper is in the up position there's nothing to stop it from draining isf the drain lines where ran right.

Is there a vent line?

it drains fine, i can let the water run at full and its fine, there is just a little bit of water that sit in the sink that wont drain. i will take a pic quick. i re installed the plumping and there is a vent. for now i just siliconed the faucet. that stuff is really strong and is doing the job for now. ha kind of rigged but i was too pissed to deal with the short bolts

The one supply line I can see is all kink up and will restrict flow.

Check the level of the cabinet and sink top from front to back.
If the faucet came with those tool free plastic nuts you can get thiner brass ones that can be tightened with a basin wrench.
