Have a quick question, as im stumped on a sink issue. I turned off my shut off valve underneath my sink in order to service a clog. After I was finished I have little to no water pressure, nothing but a tiny stream of water. My shutoff valves for both hot and cold are working, if I turn the shutoff valve to off on the cold side, while the cold water is running, it shuts off, vice versa for hot. Any idea what could cause this?
First, what mike said. Then....the washers in older shutoff valves disintegrate over time an can clog the valve or further downstream, such as the aerator. Replace the washers, or replace the valve with a new 1/4 turn ball valve, no washers.
