Sink Hose Removal-How?
3 Attachment(s)
I am attempting to remove a pull out kitchen faucet hose from below the sink, with limited success due to very limited space access. Attached is the picture of the new hose end that has to be removed from below the sink. How do you remove this type of hose end? Unscrew it, turn and then it releases? Also, what is the black clip that is around the hose?

that is a simple push on connection---To remove it--push up ,gently--remove the plastic retainer clip and the pull off the hose.

Simple if I could reach the end of the hose-ha! What is the purpose of the clip?

The hoses are a type of push fit coupling method.
Without the clip the hose joint will separate when the faucet is turned on- you must install the clip.

So just remove the clip and then push up on the hose and pull back down until the hose comes apart(or do you have to turn as well)? Just attempting to figure out due to the lack of space to even grab the hose. Thanks!

You do know you can remove the whole faucet to make it easier to work on, right?

Removing the whole faucet would force me to have to have great access to the underside.
