Sink drain problems

I am replacing my utility sink in my basement. It leaks because the basin cracked and doesn't drain properly because the plumbing is clogged. The elbow clogged up because yours truly tried to rinse some leftover cement patch down the drain (wasn't thinking at the time). i tried replacing the p trap but the new 1 1/2" PVC set up is just a tad too small for the threads on the pipe coming off the soil line. The old trap looks like the picture attached (see link below). I have the back half that is threaded and runs toward my soil line is still good. I need the PVC pipe from the drain to match up to the p-trap and this. I was told it's all 1 1/2". Any suggestions?
