Sink backing up, is this why?

Sink backing up, is this why?-image-934451078.jpg

I have 2 kitchen sinks that are plumbed like this.

This sink backs up easily when draining a half full sink or using the disposal.

Is the 2 trap layout a problem? I have never seen
one like this.

That is the norm for some areas. I'd suggest you clean the traps of any blockage and/or cable the trap arm and drain line.
