"Single-hole faucet drilling" - what am I missing here?

OK, so the sink in our bathroom is nice but I am 100% convinced the lady who had it remodeled before we bought the house asked for the smallest sink known to man so it's gotta go......

I've fallen in love with the Kohler Cimarron and It seems there is money to be saved by buying it online.

Where I get confused is where it always says "single-hole faucet drilling" yet everywhere I look, I see 3 holes in hte d@mn thing.... one for hot, one for cold and one for supply. What am I missing here?

Here is a link:

They're just being lazy (aka - "cost effective") with the pictures they use. As long as you specify single hole, you'll get what you want. In Kohler's case, if you want that same sink with 3 holes, you'd order a K-2362-3.

Like Ishy said,
Check the spec link. It shows a chart in there with the different hole configs. If you want a single hole, the model number will be followed by -1. When you order just make sure you specify the correct number and leave them a note telling them what you want.

I see!

Ok, it looks like there are 3 models of this one, a single hole and then one w/ 4" centers and one w/ 8" centers. This means the distance between the hot and cold valve holes right?

That's correct Pete.
I thought you wanted a single hole faucet?
