shower valve replacement

I've replaced the shower valves and diverter. The faucet still has a leak. What do I do?

Did you replace the washer seats in the valve body?? They often corrode and will leak even with new washers.

You say "the faucet still leaks". Since this is a shower, do you mean water drips from the shower head or from the tub spout when wter is turned off? Or do you mean water comes out the tub spout when the diverter is engaged?

shower valve replacement

Ive installed new valves in the hot and cold sides. also installed a new valve in the diverter, but there is still water leaking from the tubfaucet or shower depending witch way i leave the diverter. Should I maybe add washers? even though the new valves came assembled with them. I was going to replace everything (the whole unit) but could not find the same"set up" from any of the major home repair stores.

It sounds to me like what you did was replace the stems and didn't replace the brass seats inside the body and thats your problem. what brand is it?
