Shower Valve Destroyer ? Help!

:laughing:I recently renovated my master bathroom and installed 3 new Kohler shower valves in a large shower. Anyway, the stone I installed in the shower was a ungauged sandstone that is almost 3/4" thick. The trim would not go on properly, so I order some extension kits from Kohler.

I really screwed up and took one of the screws out of the shower body and the water started leaking..I re-tightened the screw and it still was leaking. I shut the water main down and then re-tightened again with no pressure and installed the other 2 extension kits. When I turned the water back on it still leaks as if I cant turn of the valve xompletely. Anyway the questions is "Is there any way to fix this or do I have to reinstall another valve?"

Call Kohler, they will send you the needed parts and tell you how to fix it.

Not a Kohler fan myself.
