Default shower/tub faucet repair

today i went to take a shower and pulled on the divert plug and it came unscrewed and fell apart it had a small rubber disk and a plastic piece and i cant figure out how to put it together

Probably be best to just replace the diverter. $10-15 rather than try to put it all back together. The diverter just unscrews.
