Shower / Toilet Vent

Hello all,
In the process of installing a new shower pan and toilet and I figured I'd clean up the previous owners drain plumbing mess.

Would the attached drawing be a proper location for a vent for both the shower and toilet, or does the vent need to be downstream of where the Toilet drain Wye enters the main line to the septic tank?

Thanks,

Bigmatt

The vent is fine, it should be 2in. you can't run that trap that way, you should come into the side of the 3in. with a wye

Unfortunately, the vent is 1 1/2" all the way up through the second floor, and without tearing out a good amount of drywall the entire length can't be replaced.

What is wrong with the shower trap? All the connections will be made using a wye / 45 combo. with the connection made to the top of the main.
