Shower Tap Part - (shutoff valve)

I have been to local hardware and big box stores and some plumbing stores looking for this part and I have had no luck. To replace the tap I would have to tear down the whole wall and I really don't want to do that. I do not know the make of the tap it is old and already existing. I guess I am looking for a plumber that has some old stuff lying around that they kept for just this problem. Does anyone have any ideas?
