shower repair

leaking hot water faucet in shower/tub (3 handles hot, cold & shower). used allen wrench to remove the handle and removed decorative cover. turned off the water, removed the stem and it has a porcelain back. I take it to the local Home Depot an Lowes and they have no clue as to what the brand it is. They ask me who made the fixture and I can't find any marking on this thing (handle, cover and spout), drain and shower head has Kohler marked on it but these are noticable different products. Photos will be posted at a later date.

How can I identify who the manfacturer of this product is?

Try going ta a plumbig supply house. Lowes and HD can only help with common items if at all
