Shower relocation

I am considering flipping my laundry room and bathroom. It is a 3/4 bathroom and the laundry room is double the size. I plan on making the shower bigger and adding a nice whirlpool tub to the bigger room. I am in the early planning stages and one of my first questions is regarding moving the shower drain. The new location will be about 18' from its current one. I will be tearing up the floor but I am concerned about the required pitch over along stretch like that. How difficult will that be? I am assuming I can tap into that new drain for the tub also. Please help.

Shower relocation

Ayuh,...
What's more important than where the shower is now,.. Is where the sewer leaves the house,...
What's not needed of the existing bath's plumbing can be abandoned...
Which way,+ where does the washer drain now,..??

Shower relocation

The drain for the washer is about 10' from where I would like to put the new drain for the shower. I was thinking of using that drain but doesn't the shower drain pipe need to be 2" while the washer drain is only 1 1/2".
