Or it could be the anti scald valve needs to be cleaned out because there's some trash in it. Every company designs there's differant so you may have to first figure what brand you have then go on line to see how to fix it.

retired guy 60 Member   Join Date: Jun 2009 Posts: 287	shower problem The most obvious cause is a water heater that is too small coupled with not being first in line to take a shower.
