shower pan on HARDIBACKER 500

is it ok to lay my shower pan liner over half inch hardibacker and then set the final mortar pre-sloped over the liner to get ready for tiling

The liner should go over the preslope. I wouldnt set it over the hardibacker. Install the preslope, then the liner and then your final morter.
