Shower faucet continues leaking after...

Hello all,
I have a shower faucet that is leaking cold water.
I have replaced the stem, replaced the seat, used flat and rounded washers, even tried teflon tape in the threads of the stem.
It continues leaking all the same.
Any ideas?

If you used the exact correct replacement parts and still have a leak, replace the faucet.

I was hoping for an alternative than having to rip up the shower tile.

The stem part wasn't exact, the New is PF China the old one is PF USA.
Would that make any difference?

As long as the replacement parts are Pfister brand original manufacturer it should not leak. Did you use generics such as Danco brand from a big-box store? If so, replace with quality original Pfister or USA made generic.

The new ones were Price Pfister made in China with a Lasco sub brand name, bought at an Ace Hardware

What original Price Pfister stem would correspond to this Lasco S-1119-3 6123?
I'll try to hunt down the original Price Pfister part but I don't know it's part #.

The Lasco parts are junk but if it has a good washer on it there should not be a leak. Be sure to replace the washer and seat on the hot side too. In my experience the seat is usually the bad part if a DIY or handyman stem repair still leaks after replacing both washers. You did replace the seat, right?

I replaced the seat on the cold side only, the hardware store ran out of more seats.

Problem fixed.
A retired plumber came by and slapped some teflon on the threads to the seat.
