Shower drain pipe compromised?

Hi. While removing the old shower pan, which was attached to the PVC drain pipe with a gasket, i accidentally put some gouges in the outside of the 2" drain line. Does this compromise that section of pipe? The only access to replace it is through the shower subfloor. i will be installing a Kerdi drain.
