Shower Diverter

I am going to remodel both my bathrooms and I was going to install new Moan posi-temp valves in the shower/tub area. Can I get some pros and cons about this set up. I was told (by a questionable source) that these are more trouble than they are worth.
If so can I get a better reasonably priced brand?

Thanks

Shower Diverter

I only use the Grohe and find that no problems have occur ed for many years now. I would not consider them more work than they are worth. The idea is you just turn on the water to take a bath or shower and the temp of the water is always what you want it to be.

I have used Moen fixtures for years and had no problems. Many come with a lifetime guarantee and they have help on their website.

I have always used the Moen single lever diverters and faucets but this would be the first for the posi temp model. As far as trouble I'm not concerned with installing the unit, I'm concerned about after the installation and any parts that may have to be replaced. I would imagine the cartrige is pretty much the same as the other single cartrige but how about the workings for the posi temp control. If it fails will it be redily accessable to replace.
