Shower controls loose

The hot and cold knobs and the faucet have some play in my shower. If you move one back and forth all 3 move which makes me believe that the pipes have come loose from the studs inside the wall. There is no access panel. My question is how can I tighten them without removing the tiles? Would it be best to cut a hole in the drywall from the other side of the wall? If so how will I be able to secure the pipes working from behind? I don't think I would be able to get a drill or screwdriver in that space.

Cut an access in the wall behind the shower valve. Install blocking and use strapping to tighten the valve against the blocking.
