Shattered glass down my bath drain!

Hi, Yesterday the shower screen smashed and the glass all shattered into the bath. I managed to vacuum the stuff in the bath but some/a lot must have gone down the drain as the water is not going down anymore.
The annoying thing is that i cannot remove the drain cover (the bit that the plug would fit into....not sure what its called) as it seems to be molded into the bath.
We tried the vacuum on it but it is a bit far down. I even wiggled a chopstick down there and could feel the shattered glass moving around but the water still wont go down! The bath is also kind of fitted into the bathroom so we have no access to the pipes.
Any advice would be hugely appreciated!
Thanks and Happy new year!

All drain covers are removable. It is either held with screws or snaps in place. It also may be slightly corroded. If no screws are visible, try prying it with a screwdriver or similar.

is your house on a basement, crawl space or on a concrete slab? does your tub drain have a toe tap or is there a lever on the over flow face plate? is there a access panel on the back side of the tub? do you see this + when you look in the drain?
