Sewer Vents


I Have Small Bath Room With Sewer Vent And Drain Out Side Of Wall Next To Bath Room. It Is 5 Inch Dia I Want To Know If I Run A 5 Inch Pipe Thru Wall Under Floor Do I Still Need A Vent
For Sink Toilet And Corner Shower
The Main Vent Will Be Not Be More Than 8 Feet
Away From Them

Sewer Vents


Each fixture needs it's own vent connection that goes to the main vent line. Click on the link below for a typical drainage system set-up. Notice that each fixture has a line going to the main drain, and also a line going back to the main vent.
