where did you get the camara? How much line does it come with and how much did it cost? Sounds like a cool tool to have!
Would it be recomended to have roto-rooter come and auger the line to elimate the roots for the time being?
The only real updates is that I put a root killer solution from my local hardware store down the lines. I unfortunately have fallen ill and at bed rest for numerous days due to an injury sustained at work. So I have not got to follow up with the root killers success in fixing the issue. As soon as I am able to leave my bed I will update.
I bought the camera for $400 dollars from Amazing Machinery website. It was the cheapest available. It lacks some features higher priced cameras have but it was a solution for me. I have not had any more issues since but we have been taking it a bit easier on the water being drained in the house. We still wash cloths, take baths, and use the dishwasher but now typically at separate times. I'll get back here after another run of the camera.
I think it would be a good solution to have roto rooter or similar professional to auger the roots out but most nobody serves my area and the small time places prices are through the roof. I save money buying the equipment needed myself.
More about the camera is that is came with 65ft of line and the screen is black and white but you can control brightness really well. As well the camera has LED lights to light up whats going on. I have old Terracotta lines and they are ridden with character so the camera picks them up good. A smoother line with no character too it would be better with a high amount of LED and color camera I would think. As well you can record to VHS with my camera. Battery or wall power.
