Sewer Ejector Pump Basin

Hi all. Quick question - we are getting ready to "finish" the basement, and in our plans we have included a toilet.
Does it matter what how deep a sewage ejector pump basin is? As I search for the basin online, I am finding that there is a 22" deep sump basin and a 30" sewer basin. I guess 8" of difference should not matter, but it seems the the less I have to dig below the concrete basement floor, the better.

Thanks for your help....

If you are planning to run your toilet into a sewage ejection pump, don't use a sump pump. It's not made for the job at hand. I suggest using a Zoller package, 2" pipe and make sure it is properly vented. Put a few inches of pea gravel at the bottom of your basin too. Don't worry about digging a little more.
