sewer drain snake

I saw a plumber clean out toilet drain with machine (one with snake visible). With machine running, he grabbed snake with both hands and just pushed the snake down the line. Do you know what kind of sewer
cleaner he used.

take your pick and this is just one brand some self feed and some manual but if you are looking to do this yourself it can be tricky depending on clog and they can be rented
