sewage pit collapsing from water (ground) pressure

my sewage pump died and I have suspected ground water was leaking into the pit as the pump would trip with no internal activity. Upon removal I noted the plastic basin is collapsed due to ground water pressure and water is seeping in slowly over the basin upper rim. Ideas please

Not too sure what your question is, but pretty sure that ground water pressure won't collapse a properly installed basin.
