Secure a tub spout

So my kids finally managed to snap off my tub spout. It is(was) a Moen with the set screw on the bottom. I first noticed that they pulled it an 1/8 of an inch off the wall. So I used power grab on it and secured it to the tile. So they gave up on trying to pull it off the wall and ended up snapping it off. I am thinking of either find some sort of funking commercial spout that bolts to the wall, or going will a brass stub out and find a thread on spout. My kids are worse the the worst tenants you could image.

There is no bolt on spout.
I hate to see you do it but a galvinized pipe nipple will work.
The trick is how did they connect the copper to the devertor. If they used an adapter you can just unscrew it.

Secure a tub spout

I recently installed the whole thing. I sweeted everything together. I knew from experience my kids would try and destroy my work. I have access to the back but specifically tore the tile and cement board out because of fire danger. I screwed and glued and drilled very close tolerance holes to run the vertical pipes through. It is close quarters but I should be able to sweet a threaded female adapter on and thread a brass nipple into the hole and just install a new threaded tub spout. Other problem is I will have to cut the tile a little because the clearance on the tile is a hair over 5/8 inch. I believe they will have trouble with this new setup.
