Screw Driver Stuck

I really need some advice. I had a plumber out to the house today to fix some slow drains in our house. He put the camera down and found the clog, but also found a old screwdriver that was catching toilet paper etc and clogging up the pipe. He tried to fish it out but couldn't get it past the bend in the clean out which is about 4-5 yards under ground (house is built on a slope. He tried flushing it to the city sewer line but it got caught up in the bend on the other side of the house. He recommended jackhammering the cement and digging down to the pipe and cut it out and repair. Does anyone have any other ideas? I was thinking about renting a sewer camera from a local rental shop and try to fish it out myself. If anyone has any other ideas I'd appreciate it.

Even if you had a way to see it, how do you plan on getting a hold of it and pulling it out?

use a magnet on the camera head?

I was thinking of using a strong magnet to either see if I can get it around the bend or to tie it off and keep the screwdriver from going further down the pipe where all the shower drains and toilets connect to it. If it stays at the clean out end of the pipe it won't clog the pipes as all the drain connection are about a yard down from the clean out.

Cow mangnets are very strong alnico magnets if you have a feed supply or large animal vet nearby. Just be careful to keep away from digital watches, TV's, LCD displays, or computers. Oh and pacemakers if they apply.
