Saniflo???

installing bathroom in basement and am intrigued by the SANIFLOW plus. does anyone have significant experience with these and know if they work well? we would be installing a shower, toilet and sink. it looks like the shower would need to be set on a 4" platform which is not a big deal. the advantages would be avoiding costly excavation and, more importantly, not busting through a proven concrete slab (from a water proofing point of view).

any comments appreciated

These kinds of systems have been around for years, and if properrly installed and maintained, can last for many years.
Good Luck!

Saniflo???

I have recommended these toilets for years. Now, I see that the discharge piping is 3/4" (as opposed to 1-1/2 or 2") and I have to wonder if this is good or bad. Even ground-up (maserated) sewage has solids in it. I see the chance of build-up in this small piping. I have not read anything on their website that explains this reasoning.
