Is it safe to leave hose on? (with gun attachment at end)
I've been working on watering some seedlings around my house and cannot physically get to the hose tap outside, so I just leave the pressure on and go use it on a as needed bassis. I noticed once in a while the hose bib will spray water, I guess it's releasing pressure from the water in the hose heating up from being outside.
Does doing this pose any danger to the plumbing (mostly the hose bib)? I can't see why but thought I'd check.

As the water expands in the hose left out in the sun, the hose gets stretched a tad and its life can be shortened.
The good conscientious technician or serviceperson will carry extra oils and lubricants in case the new pump did not come with oil or the oil was accidentally spilled, so the service call can be completed without an extra visit.
