Running Tub Faucet

So we have a running bathtub faucet with a single-handle control. After doing some research online I determined that the source of the leak must be the valve in the single-handle control. I removed the handle and this is what I saw:

Do I need to replace that whole thing? Or is there a way to open it up and replace some washers or o-rings or something?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

moen single handle non posi-temp faucet, ive installed hundreds of them.best faucet ever made in my book.anyway any decent hardware store should stock that cartridge for $15-20.turn water off to house and let it drain down, then pull that little horseshoe clip out from top .sometimes you can just grab the end of stem with channel locks and pull it out, other times you need a puller.make sure to put vaseline or plumbers grease around new one when installing.if the hot/cold are reversed when you turn water back on just turn off the water to house, pull the clip and spin cartridge 180 degrees and turn water back on.
