Running A/C drain into plumbing system

Posted this question in the HVAC section.

Draining Attic A/C

Recieved some good advice, as well as directed to ask here.

I'm setting an A/C unit in the attic of my home. (details in the above post) In short, I'd like to run the condensation drain directly into a vent pipe, or plumb it down into a bathroom, running it into the sink drain area. Is this a code violation, and/or do you foresee other complications.

Thanks for any and all input.
