rough in shower drain cap

I am finishing my basement and have come to the bathroom.
It has been roughed in by the builder. It has the drain pipe for a shower.
I just want to have a sink and toilet in the bathroom thus no need for
The shower drain. Can I just cap this off?
Thanks
