rough in plumbing

i am thinking of adding a bath off my master bedroom in a spare room. obviously, there is no plumbing as of yet in that room. has anyone else in the northeast done this and how huge of a job is it really? i just want it roughed in, i can install fixtures and do the finish work myself, id just like to know general pricing for jobs like this.l (its a second floor and there are easy ways to hide the plumbing going through the first floor). ANY answers would be helpful!
thanks!

Hi and welcome to DIY Cahtroom.

The best answer I have for you is to contact 3 local plumbing contractors and see if you can get estimates, most will give you a free quote.

Too many things involved to get this info on-line,

Ron

How close is the current bathroom to this room?

It range from 1 to 3 grand depending on what you need to have done.

the current bathroom is across the hall and at least 15 ft down the hall. my dad and i have determined it would be easier to run the plumbing down the 1st floor walls (even large plumbing would fit at there are large recesses in our old walls) and straight down the the sewer and water sources in the basements. i wish i could download a drawing for you and i know this is a hard thing to determine with out seeing it. thanks for trying to help me anyway!
