Rough in cost planning?

We have a townhouse (end unit with walk out basement) with an unfinished basement that I'm going tio want to start being in shape in the next few months. The first step will be to get someone to rough in a full bath where there is currently a very basic rough in for a half bath (i have two pipes coming out of the concrete floor, a vent pipe and a larger capped off pipe that I am guessing is the drain. I want to eventually put a tub and shower in.

Does anyone have an idea of what price range I should be contemplating? I'm in Maryland.

Thanks.

Assuming you mean 4k and not 4m, that still sounds way steep for cutting two holes with a concrete saw and tying in a drain for a tub and shower stall.

He's from Canada--things cost a LOT more up there.

Where are you from? Costs vary from place to place.
