Root penetration removal solution?

4" line was inspected. Found a few meters of roots on the top part of the piping. 7/8 rods get in but cannot pass first bend with the root cutters. Will jetters take care of the job? Pipe is in a terrible location for replacement or circumvention.... Oh, and the tree was summarily executed a few weeks ago...

Assuming the jetter will pass the bend too, it will cut the roots out using root head. Do not use a jetter in orangeburg pipe though-You didn't specify pipe type

Push-fit PVC. Noticed hairline crack along the top of the piping (where there were no roots) so it may be some cruddy non-certified piping.
