Rheem 42VR5040F- Any good?

I need a new water heater, and was looking at getting the above mentioned Rheem. It is the natural gas 50 gallon, and appears to just have some more insulation on it to make it "high effeciency". Anyone have input on the current Rheem heaters?

The one it will be replacing is a 20 yr old rheen fury, and my brother in law has a rheem fury in his house that is almost 30 years old, both natural gas.

If not this one, any other recommendations? I can get AO Smith, Richmond and Bradford-White locally, but the supply house that carries the BW is giving me fits about the warranty, telling me it will not have a warranty b/c I am not a licensed plumber.
