reusing fernco

Replaced cast iron drain from toilet to stack. Used pvc for drain and a fernco type fitting to connect to the cast iron stack. Not sure of the brand of fitting. Need to remove the drain pipe. Can the fernco type of fitting be reused? Assembly is about a year old. Do not plan on removing fitting from cast iron but pulling out the pvc drain. If the fernco type had to be removed from the cast iron can it be reused? Thank you.

Somewhere in the probably to maybe range.
But for the savings of $5 or $10 to buy a new one...
I can't see the point of bothering.

At a year old? You will be fine----However--if in doubt--replace it

Is that a yes? It is a year old and plan on leaving the fitting on the cast iron and replacing the pvc drainpipe that goes into the fitting on the cast iron. Thanks.
