Right side needs reroute. Help

Best plan is to remove the Y -from the wall fitting using an inside cutter---these tools will fit into a pipe and cut it out of the fitting without damaging the fitting----fits into a drill---

I'll see if I can find a picture.

Great advise. I put a pipe in center of drain for reference. Also a disposal will be on the left. How would yo plumb the correctly? I will use advice and cut inside of pipe and start again. Thank u all for reading.

Typically, I will remove the Y coming out of the wall---then install the two P-traps and the tail piece on the strainer basket---

If there is a garbage disposer---loosen it enough to turn it,if needed---

I will then aim the P-traps at the drain opening ---figure out what combination of T- ---Street 45s or 9os that will give a nice neat installation.

In our area, dish washer drain can not be installed into the garbage disposer---so I have the entrance in the tail piece.

The vacuum breaker Joe showed is not required here--just a high loop in the dish washer drain line---just under the bottom of the counter top----

I must be missing something. Why not just turn the ptrap to line up with the basket strainer.
On the left side- hang the disposal and use a continuous waste disposal kit to connect to the right side. Or double trap it.
I don't see why the wye needs to go.
