replacing washer drain pipe

Yeah I triad everything in my power to get it exactly how you said but the hole was already in the ceiling for the vent and I didn't want to try and move it.. I tested everything out and ran the washer on a super load and ran the sink at the same time and it ran beautifully and didn't even gurgle or hiccup. I also triad to put the stand hose pipe at 20" and my father and law was all like that's to high blah, blah, blah, lol. I did get it at 17 and since it started at 13 I was comfortable with it haha

i would suggest putting new trap on a t below the sink drain so when the wash machine pumps water it will not come up in sink

Yeah so far so good, but I plan on redoing the entire sink to PVC once I get the time and money to tear out the old sink and get a new countertop and cabinets and what not. I'm just glad I did this entire project for only 130 dollars

That's the wrong type of fitting for that application.

The reasoning behind it is that if you ever have to snake it through the fixture's trap arm that it will go down the drain instead of straight across into the other fixture.
