Replacing shower drain all connectors, no pipe
Redoing a shower in a weekend home that was leaking. Drain pipe was cracked (??how'd that happen??). Tore into the floor and found the drain pipe to be one connector after another for several feet. Even past the vent. Any slick tricks to fix such? Want to cut in to system and replace the trap and leaking connection. But to get to enough pipe to cut and have room to glue a connector, have to rip up more floor to get to the area with enough pipe. Hoping to avoid. Any suggestions?
Thanks so much in advance for any hints or suggestions.
