Replacing old Copper with CPVC

Hello,

Got a bit of a project on my hands. Going to be replacing old copper lines in a house here soon. From what i've been reading i'll be using CPVC for everything inside the house.

My question is, for my supply lines going 90% of the way, is 3/4'' reduced down to 1/2'' for the last 10% sound right?

This may be a stupid question since from the looks of it 1'' isn't even available...

Keep in mind if you are piping hot water with 3/4, the longer you stay 3/4 inch the longer you'll have to wait for the hot water. So maybe in areas where you don' want to sit for 3 minutes to get hot, you go more like 10% 3/4 and 90% 1/2..
