Replacing Deep Well Pump

The new pump that arrived has an outlet opening for 1 1/2" pipe thread, I have 1' pipe. The motor and volume is approximately the same as the one that went out. Do you think there will be an issue retrofitting with a reducer and what do you think is the best way to do it?
