Replacement toilet tank lid?

I have a nice older toilet (original to my early 60's ). The lid is chipped and I want to find a replacement. I see several numbers on the backside of the lid but I do not see a manufacturer name on toilet anywhere. Any ideas where I can find a replacement lid.

This item is hard to find with all the info in the world. Most companies do not sell the lid separate from the tank. Tank designs change fast so unless you have a surplus store or a place that rescues parts from houses being torn down, it will be a battle. Look at the display models in stores and you "may" find one that matches the chipped one you have.

If you have never made a mistake, you haven't done much.

Call a plumber, they may have one lying around.

Ahhhh, the old 5 gallon per flush toilets, I got one in my rental unit and even though they waste water, they operate far superior to the 1.6 gallon toilets today. You can't clog the trapway or the downstream line no matter how hard you tried.

So, to answer your question, you might be able to find a replacement lid here:
