The lower hinge broke loose on our shower door. It looks like it might be quite an old door because I can't see any similar hinges at the usual stores where such things might be sold. The hinges are going to be hard to remove because both of the screws fixing them are stripped badly and it looks like Ill have to drill them out. I would like to remove the hinges and replace with identical ones if possible. Failing that I need to find a hinge design which will work with the holes already bored in the glass door. Or is it easy to drill new holes for a different hinge design?
Does anyone know where to obtain the hinge shown below? Or have any suggestion of what other hinge design I could use to repair this door. It is a framed shower design and the hinge fits onto a metal strip which slides into the shower frame. I can buy a different strip design if need be.
