Replace toilet bolts

I have recently replaced the entire toilet in the bathroom and now one of the bolts has come loose from the floor. How do I get the bolt to fasten to the floor?

What style flange? How old is it?
If the bolt head was not properly seated, it would lift right up.
Some wax rings include new bolts with the rings.

Replace toilet bolts

Sorry about this, remove toilet buy new nuts and bolts put in place where you think they will line up or be close put a goob of putty around them to keep them in place.. lower toilet down slowly on new bolts .. take it from there.

TIP: When ever removing a toilet always have on hand new wax ring and bolts and nuts. don't even start without these.

Could also be rotted wood and the bolt's not the problem, the SCREWS may be!

Replace toilet bolts

Toilet flanges frequently break --or rust out---Inspect the flange---flange repair pieces are available where ever plumbing supplies are sold.

Thank you so much for the picture. It seems we are a visual society and having a picture makes understanding easier. Thanks again.
