removing very old kitchen faucet.

the screw that holds the faucet on - it is old and rusted. Want to replace the faucet but cannot get the bolt off - very tight area to work on. Tried encasing the screw in W-D - any ideas

Screw? Moen faucet? Could you clip that off with a Dremel with a grinding wheel?

Drill around the screw and break the plate off?

Picture would help if you can get a shot under there---Mike---

Since you need to disconnect the plumbing to the faucets anyway, maybe disconnect the trap and remove the entire sink and faucets. Then it would be much easier to remove the frozen faucet. Sounds like it's an old installation so new caulking around the sink might be a good thing.
