Removing outside water tap

I can't seem to figure out how to remove my outside water tap. I have removed the screws holding it to the house and cut the water off to the tap. I tried to hold the pipe on the inside and turn the tap on the outside. The tap turns and the pipe inside doesn't but still the tap won't come free. This home was built in 2010, it is plastic plumbing pipe. I don't understand why the tap won't just unscrew. Is there some other way that it might be fastened? Any help would be much appreciated.

Sounds like it might be pex piping. If so, you will need to cut it then possibly get a new one and refit it with a shark bite fitting with a male adaptor on one end so you can remove it again if you ever need to

ha ha, well if it's "plastic" piping, it's extremely unlikely that it's screwed on. Most likely it's PEX if it's plastic supply built in 2010. Assuming you have access to the source in your crawl space or basement, you just need to cut the pipe. You can Google how to reattach a new one with PEX if you're replacing it rather than just taking it out.
