I need to remove caulk from a newer style tub surround and was going to use Dap caulk be gone (if I can find the stuff) to do it. Will this product damage the finish on this type of tub? The caulk isn't located on a ledge, it's under a 'lip' so it will drip down the tub. I don't want to use a razor, either,....can anyone recommend a tool that I could use that won't scratch the surface? I was also going to use Kwik seal 3 so that the tub can be used in a short period of time after it's done. Any recommendations or advice?
