Removing Backflow Preventer

I have a Moen kitchen faucet with a pull out handle (wand). The water pressure is very low out of this faucet (it's fine throughout the rest of the house).

I can see the backflow preventer in the handle, but it seems to be fixed and not removable.

Has anyone had success pulling one out (or finding a replacement handle that doesn't have one)?

backflow preventer/anti-siphon device is there for a reason, it's in case you leave wand in sink, with sink full of water, it won't suck up all the dirty water and contaminate your drinking water. You probably really don't want to remove that. However, there maybe an energy saver washer that you can remove to increase water pressure. Just google model # of your moen faucet it should tell you, or just go to moen.com or call them directly if you can't locate it. They are a very reputable company. Tell them the problem you are having. It maybe as simple as cleaning sediment out of your wand, which they would be more than happy to assist you with.
